Agereh Technologies Inc. has appointed John McMullen to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. The Edmonton-based company, which trades on the TSXV under the symbol AUTO, confirmed the addition in a brief statement.
McMullen brings a 30-year career in Canadian capital markets to the role. Much of his work has centered on financing and growing resource companies. Over the years he has launched and seeded a number of investment funds and mining corporations, building deep experience in early-stage company development and capital formation.
His background could prove useful for Agereh as it looks to strengthen its financial strategy and expand its investor base. Companies at this stage often lean on directors with strong fundraising networks, and McMullen's track record suggests he fits that profile.
The appointment takes effect right away. Agereh did not disclose further details about the board seat or any committee assignments at this time.
