The company recently brought its cashierless shopping experience to several major sports venues, including Soldier Field, Kroger Field at the University of Kentucky, and Spartan Stadium at Michigan State University.

The technology allows fans to grab concessions and merchandise without waiting in line or stopping at a register. Shoppers tap a credit card or use their palm to enter, take what they want, and leave. The system automatically detects what they have taken and charges their account.

The push into sports stadiums makes sense. Large crowds and tight game-day timelines often create long queues at concession stands. Fans miss parts of the action while waiting for food or drinks. Just Walk Out aims to cut that friction and get people back to their seats faster.

Amazon has been steadily growing this technology beyond its own grocery stores. Airports, hospitals, and entertainment venues have adopted it in recent years. The company says the system uses computer vision and sensor fusion to track items accurately, though it relies on human reviewers in some cases to verify purchases.

With the latest additions, Amazon now operates or licenses Just Walk Out in hundreds of locations across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. The company has not disclosed exact revenue figures for the technology, but the growing store count suggests steady demand from retailers and venue operators looking to speed up transactions and reduce labor costs.
